Remote Application Specialist

Are you looking for ways to use your IT expertise to live out your values/faith? Open Doors is hiring! The Application Specialist provides ownership from the IT perspective for one or more enterprise applications, playing a crucial role in advancing critical programs to support persecuted Christians. This role involves collaborating with stakeholders within ODUS to enhance system functionality, ensure data integrity, and provide insights through reporting and analytics to drive strategic decision-making. The position requires a strong background in business analysis, process development, and implementation.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES
- Serve as the primary administrator for the Virtuous and RaiseDonors Donor Management System (CRM)
- Manage user accounts, roles, and permissions within the CRM
- Ensure data integrity and quality within the CRM
- Perform regular data audits and cleansing activities
- Manage data import/export processes and integrations with other systems
- Provide first-line support for CRM users, troubleshooting issues as they arise
- Develop and deliver training for new and existing users
- Create and maintain user documentation and guides
- Facilitate user group meetings to gather feedback and share best practices
- Configure workflows, automation rules, and reporting tools
- Design and generate regular and ad-hoc reports for various stakeholders
- Analyze donor data to provide insights for fundraising strategies
- Identify opportunities for process improvements using the CRM
- Stay informed about product roadmaps and new features
- Contribute to the long-term strategy for CRM utilization and development
- Experience working remotely and on a team
- Conduct in-depth business analysis to identify areas for improvement in CRM usage and related processes
- Develop and implement new processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of CRM utilization
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align CRM capabilities with business objectives
- Lead process mapping and reengineering initiatives to optimize CRM-related workflows
- Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure successful project delivery
- Monitor project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure optimal outcomes
REQUIREMENTS
- Alignment with the Christian faith and Biblical values
- Agreement with Open Doors Statement of Faith and Core Values
- Must agree to participate in the community of Open Doors, including staff meetings, devotions and team events
- Must conduct themselves in a Christ-like manner, offering dignity, compassion and respect for others
- 5-7 years of experience in a customer-facing role involving user support and/or system administration
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Demonstrated experience with solutions involving CRM, ERP or Marketing Automation
- Strong background in business analysis and process improvement methodologies
ADDITIONAL DETAILS
- We are willing to consider those with more senior qualifications that may warrant a title change to "Senior Application Specialist" if candidates are able to fulfill the duties of this job and make additional contributions.
- We are happy to consider remote employment from anywhere in the U.S., with a slight preference for candidates residing in Colorado, Michigan, Florida, Arizona or California.
