Role Description
We seek an email newsletter operator to implement, grow, and analyze our recurring email newsletters. This role will work directly with our Lifecycle, Product, Sales, and Data teams to manage, monetize, and grow our email newsletters.

Responsibilities include:
  • Manage, develop, and test custom HTML for our daily and weekly newsletters focused on featured content, ad clients, and new initiatives
  • Work with Ad Sales teams on new client onboarding and reporting
  • Partner with Product team on QA, personalization, and email enhancements
  • Execute and strategize weekly A/B experiments to drive up engagement and quarterly KPIs
  • Monitor email deliverability on Sparkpost and Braze Platforms, and implement initiatives when trends are declining
  • Collaborate with the design team to enhance email templates
  • Update and QA email content API daily
  • Manage daily, weekly, and monthly performance report
  • Coordinate with product teams on continued automated processes for UI cohesiveness
  • Continued research on email industry trends
  • Partner with the Head of product on overall strategy

Experience needed includes:
  • 5 or more years of email newsletter operating experience
  • Proficient in email development and template building
  • Project management with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Content, Design, Product, Data)
  • High-level knowledge of bounce rates, esp configuration, and deliverability monitoring and management
  • Extensive experience in analyzing data and effectively presenting findings
  • Braze software experience (preferred)
  • Well-organized and able to work on multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Creative thinking about marketing strategy
